Sergio Garcia holds off Henrik Stenson in Dubai
Sergio’s win gets him in the World Golf Rankings’ top 10, just in time for the Florida Swing and evidently, The Masters.

Despite Tiger Woods’ withdrawl before Round 2, the Dubai Desert Classic produced good golf and interesting storylines, from Sergio’s golf clinic from start to finish, outlasting top European, Henrik Stenson, to the continued rise of Englishmen Tyrrell Hatton and Matthew Fitzpatrick.

Speaking of Englishmen, Ian Poulter was in the mix for a top 5 finish until a disappointing back 9 on Sunday. Like Tiger, Ian was on the shelf with injuries but unlike Tiger, he grinded for a strong showing and followed bad shots and shanks with beautiful approaches and par saves.
